Doug is a home improvement expert with over 20 years of home improvement experience. Doug started his working life at the age of 18 when he got his first job installing windows for Wallside in Taylor, MI. After 10 years of title and company changes, Doug decided to take a leap of faith and start his own home improvement company. There's nothing Doug enjoys more than helping Michigan homeowners make their dream homes become a reality.

Doug started The Home Blog with the hope that his experience and insight will empower more Michigan homeowners to pick up tools and start crafting the homes they actually want to live in. The Home Blog has been a dream of Doug's for some time that has finally become a realization.
